Fishing Day With Papa Ray

Fishing Day with Papa Ray is a story I wrote to honor the legacy of my father who passed away from cancer. It is a story that reminds us about the importance of family, community, and kindness. In todayʻs world, values have been tainted by the promise of instant gratification and the shiny distraction of technology. We hope this book will remind our children, and our own inner child, of the value of reading, storytelling, and caring for the world around us.

This story is told in both English and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language). Readers will discover new words in both languages accompanied by fun activities and exercises to reinforce learning. In doing so, we preserve Hawaiian culture and legacy for future generations.
